For those of you who don't know, I live in North Dakota. On top of that, I live in a town of about 1000 people. Half of our streets are gravel roads. I don't mean that once you leave city limits the roads are made of gravel. No. Inside the town there are gravel roads. Yeah, I'd say it's kind of like going back to the 18th century until a semi-truck goes by on the main highway. But I don't really mind it. I don't know why. I consider myself a city person. I'd much rather live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area or Denver or Phoenix or Boston, but those places are a bit out of my price range at this point. So for now, kudos to you, North Dakota. Thanks for being friendly and affordable.

Ooh, it's so pretty! I know how you feel, I live in a small town in Nebraska. I consider myself a city girl too, but the people are so nice in the country and the living is so calm and peaceful. :)
I LOVE small towns. My favorite is Naches, Washington, only because I have family there.
Myself, I live in the middle of Downtown Portland, Oregon. So many people crammed into a small area. I dream of being able to sleep with out earplugs in!
